About Our Shepherds Huts
Our shepherd’s huts are built to order. Each hut is bespoke and designed with the
input from our clients, to produce a beautifully crafted high-quality living space, that suits its use and location.
Smaller Shepherds Huts
The smallest shepherds hut we build is 12′ x 7′. This hut is a great size for a small home office or reading room. It could comfortably fit a desk, bookcase, and armchair.
Medium Sized Shepherds Huts
Our medium-sized huts are the 14′ x 7′ and 16′ x 8′ shepherds hut. These huts can accommodate a full-sized double bed or pull-out bed.
Large Huts
Our large huts range from 18′ x 8′, 20′ x 8′ and 23′ x 9′. These luxurious shepherds huts can house a full-size double bed, shower room with toilet and sink, kitchen area. These huts are the most popular size for people that would like to rent them out as self-catering accommodation.
Horseshoe Shepherds Hut
Our Horseshoe shepherd’s hut is designed as a spacious living space, offering separate rooms.
Exteriors
Our standard huts can be clad in corrugated steel or waney edge or feather edge timber. They sit on oak axles with cast iron wheels and come with a metal draw-bar. Our standard huts come with softwood double glazed windows that can be painted in a colour of your choice, or you can opt for oak, or aluminium framed windows.

Interiors
Our shepherd’s hut interiors are all unique, depending on the use of the hut. Our interior designer Helen can help you choose a colour scheme, fixtures, and fittings and work with your individual tastes, to create your dream living space.
The shepherd’s huts are fully insulated with sheep’s wool insulation.
The inside walls are clad in bead and butt timber that can be painted in a colour of your choice. The flooring in the huts can be engineered oak, or reclaimed floorboards or rustic timber. The shepherd’s huts are fitted with electrics.
